| The Design Administrative Supervisor will supervise and assist Design support staff members with sales projects including presentation preparation, revisions and departmental assignments. The position will be accountable for coordinating and completing projects accurately and on-time. |

| The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and ability to create, maintain and implement departmental procedures to include job descriptions, work instructions, annual performance appraisals and approve/ deny vacation & sick requests. The Design Administrative Supervisor will also provide direct administrative support to the President and Sales team. The position requires schedule flexibility. Must be open to working evenings and weekends as needed. |

| Must be able to demonstrate the following skills: |
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have PC proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook (test administered for MS Excel proficiency)
Must be able to multi-task and problem solve
Must be detailed oriented.
Must be a self starter and be able to work independently as well as a team leader.
Possess strong communication and supervisor skills
Must be able to work well with others and work under a deadlines.
Must be able to delegate and have good time management skills in addition to project analysis and preparation.
Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience with an emphasis on administrative responsibilities.
Bilingual a plus.

Houdini, Inc. is the leading supplier of upscale food, wine and spa gift baskets to wholesale & retail accounts throughout the U.S. We are currently seeking a Designer Coordinator to join our unique and creative design team.
The Designer Coordinator is primarily responsible for designing and building food, candy, and liquor baskets based on specific customer requirements. The position requires the ability to do cost analysis for each gift to achieve desired retail price point for each account. The position will be responsible for the entire design process from design presentation layout, sourcing new products via trend shopping, using outside media reference tools and assisting with mock up creation for samples/presentations.
The Designer Coordinator also requires project & time management skills. The position will coordinate the resources to complete the tasks on time with emphasis on project delegation and follow through.
The position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can navigate an MS Excel spreadsheet with proficiency. The Designer Coordinator must be able to juggle overlapping projects and prioritize effectively to successfully execute projects with minimal supervision. We are looking for self-starters with strong communication skills who are able to work in a fast paced team environment.
The position will interact closely with the Director of Design, Graphic Designers and Purchasing. The Designer Coordinator reports to the Design Supervisor and Manager of Design Operations.

Houdini, Inc. is the leading supplier of upscale food, wine and spa gift baskets to wholesale & retail accounts throughout the U.S. We have an excellent opportunity to join our company as a Gift Basket Designer.
The Gift Basket Designer is responsible for designing & building food, candy, and liquor baskets based on specific requirements for all customers. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to: price pointing, selecting containers for design presentation layout, using analytical skills to layout basket line and needs of specified customer, sourcing new products via trend shopping, using outside media reference tools etc., assisting with mock up creation for samples/presentations and working closely with the design supervisor, graphic artist, junior designer, and design support staff. This is not a graphic designer opportunity.
We are seeking a qualified Gift Basket Designer with experience in the gift, floral and or food industries. The Gift Basket Designer will analyze and be accountable for each step necessary to build and design baskets to include: working with purchasing to source (containers, acetate and accessories), graphics to create new concepts, product optimization review, photography, and product recap review and analysis. This positions also requires intermediate MS Excel skills.
